How It Works
Getting Started
You and doctor Smilovits will talk about any problems or goals you have for your smile & evaluate your teeth.
Once ClearCorrect is established to be the right treatment option for you, doctor Smilovits will take
impressions, photos, and x-rays of your teeth. ClearCorrect will use them in manufacturing your custom
aligners.
Custom Treatment Plan
Your records—your impressions, photos, and x-rays— will be sent to ClearCorrect with a prescription for
your custom aligners. ClearCorrect will use your records to create exact 3D models of your teeth. Using
doctor’s prescription ClearCorrect will map out a complete treatment plan of gradual adjustment that
straitens your teeth. Treatment plan will then be reviewed by you and doctor Smilovits & you’ll be able
to preview the projected results of your treatment in your "treatment set-up," a computer representation
of your teeth before and after treatment.
Wearing Your Aligners
You’ll wear your ClearCorrect aligners all the time, except while eating and drinking or during daily
tooth care, such as brushing and flossing. Aligners are so clear they are barely noticeable so they
won't have an impact on your day to day life. From one aligner to the next aligner, you'll be able to
see the difference as your teeth adjust and align to your target smile.
You'll visit our office periodically for checkups to review progress and preciseness of the treatment until you eventually have the straight smile you've always wanted.
